Players with MN ties-NHL features

Former Blaine high school star and UND scorer Brandon Bochenski may see his first ice time in a Boston Bruins uniform. He joined the Bruins in the off season and is now in the same organization as another former Bengal Matt Hendricks.

Maybe old news, but not good news for former Gopher Jordan Leopold, who is out for approximately two months with a wrist injury.

Former Elk River standout Dan Hinote had a featured article about his chartity to help improve hospital conditions for children who are battling cancer and their families.

Minneapolis native Matt Smaby made his NHL debut earlier in the month, but he was recently sent down to Springfield of the AHL where he spend all of last year.

Oh, and Sid made his first appearance at the X a memorable one.

Minnesota Wild winger and former Bloomington Jefferson Jaguar and St. Cloud State Husky Mark Parrish spent time on KFAN's PA and Dubay show Wednesday.
